<li>Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.<br />Turn off the heat and take off that burner and let it stand covered, for another 10 minutes.</li>

<li>You can choose to cook your spinach or not, we have chosen to sauté ours for a few minutes and add to the salad.</li>

<li>Enjoy with some avocado, or simply put it on some toast!</li>

<li>This is now Kheer and will have thickened by now. Turn off the flame and add the raisins and sprinkle with the remaining Pistachios.</li>
