Indian Chai Tea with Milk
Few beverages are as comforting and aromatic as a freshly brewed cup of Indian Chai Tea with Milk. Black tea simmers gently with warm chai spices, releasing notes of cinnamon, cardamom, and other fragrant aromatics that fill the kitchen with a welcoming scent. Milk softens the boldness of the tea, creating a smooth, creamy balance, while a touch of sugar adds just the right hint of sweetness. Traditionally enjoyed throughout the day across India, chai is more than a drink. It is a daily ritual that brings people together for conversation, warmth, and a moment of calm in the rhythm of everyday life.

Ingredients:

  • 16oz. Water
  • 8oz Milk (can be whole, part or Almond)
  • 2 tsp Sugar (add as much or as little to your taste)
  • 3 tbsp Black Tea powder
  • 1 tbsp Chai Tea Spice Mix

Steps:

  1. In a medium saucepan bring water and milk to a simmer blend in the Chai Spice Tea mix. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting and add in the black tea powder. Wait until the mixture takes on a pink-tan color. Should take about 3 minutes while stirring occasionally. Strain into three 8 ounce cups and add sugar to your taste preference.
